AN ACT to amend section five of the Companies

Act, 1961-1969.

[Assented to 20th May, 1970.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Companies

Act Amendment Act, 1970.

2. Subsection (1) of section 5 of the principal

Act is amended

(a)

by deleting the word, "or" appearing immediately after paragraph (a) of the interpretation "corporation";

(b)

by adding after the passage, "sole;" in paragraph (b) of the interpretation "corporation" the word, "or"; and

(c)

by adding at the end of the interpretation "corporation" the following paragraph

(c)

any society registered under the provisions of the Building Societies Act, 1920; .
