HEREAS it is expedient to amend the Act No. 22 of 1870-71,' Preamble.

Be it therefore Enacted by the Governor of the Province of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council

and House of Assembly of thc said Province, in this present Parlia-

ment assembled, in manner following, that is to say:

1. Section 3 of the said Act No. 22 of 1870-71, hall not apply Repeal of WC 3 nf

to any company or copartnership formed or to be formed for the purpose of carrying on the business of fire or marine insurance: Provided that this repeal shall not affect any such company already incorporated under the authority of any Private Act.
