s1 2 s3 Community Services Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2003 No. 74, 2003 PART 1—PRELIMINARY 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Community Services Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2003 . PART 2—AMENDMENT OF COMMUNITY SERVICES (ABORIGINES) REGULATION 1998 2 Regulation amended in pt 2 This part amends the Community Regulation 1998. Services (Aborigines) 3 Insertion of new s 64C Part 10A, after section 64B— insert — ‘64C Criminal history checks ‘ (1) For section 89(1) 1 of the Act, the chief executive may ask the commissioner of the police service to give the chief executive a written report about a person’s criminal history. 2 ‘ (2) The commissioner must comply with the request. ‘ (3) Subsection (1) applies to the criminal history in the commissioner’s possession or to which the commissioner has access.’. 1 Section 89 (Criminal history checks) of the Act 2 Section 89(3) of the Act defines “criminal history” for the section.
