I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the community Services (Complaints, Appeals and Monitoring) Act 1993, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 October 1993 as the day on which Division 1 of Part 6 and Part 8 of that Act commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the provisions of the Community Services (Complaints, Appeals and Monitoring) Act 1993 relating to the establishment of the Community Services Commission, the appointment of a Commissioner for Community Services and the constitution of the Community Services Review Council.
