COMMUNITY SERVICE ORDERS ACT 1979—REGULATION
(Relating to forms)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Community Service Orders Act 1979, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement
1. This Regulation commences on 1 July 1994.
Amendment
2. The Community Service Orders Regulation 1988 is amended:
(a)
by omitting from clause 13 the matter “Form 7” and by inserting instead the words “a form approved by the Director of the New South Wales Probation Service,’;
(b) by omitting clause 14;
(c) by omitting Forms 7 and 8 in Schedule 1.1994—No. 256
EXPLANATORY NOTE
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Community Service Orders Regulation
1988:
| (a) | to replace a requirement that a certificate as to hours worked under a community service order be in a prescribed form with a requirement that it be in a form approved by the Director of the New South Wales Probation Service, and to delete the current prescribed form; and |
| (b) | to delete a provision (and the corresponding form) made for the purposes of a provision of the Act that has been repealed by the Justices (Fine Default) Amendment Act 1994. |
The Regulation is made under the Community Service Orders Act 1979, including
section 27 (the general regulation making power).
