(2) Sections 23(2) and 24(3) commence on 1 January 2014. (2) In this section— indigenous land means land held under a following Act by, or on behalf of or for the benefit of, Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander inhabitants or purposes— (a) Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LandHolding Act 2013 ; (b) Aboriginal Land Act 1991 ; (c) AurukunandMorningtonShireLeasesAct1978 ; (d) Land Act 1994 ; (e) Torres Strait Islander Land Act 1991 .
