I, MARK BUTLER, Minister for Mental Health and Ageing, make these Principles under section 96‑1 of the Aged Care Act 1997.

  1. Name of Principles

These Principles are the Community Care Subsidy Amendment Principles 2012 (No. 1).

  1. Commencement

These Principles commence on the day after they are registered.

  1. Amendment of Community Care Subsidy Principles 1997

Schedule 1 amends the Community Care Subsidy Principles 1997.


Schedule 1        Amendments

(section 3)

[1]           Section 12.5, after subsection (2)

insert

(3)        Community care for a person may be provided at one of the following levels:

(a)        home care level 1, comprising a basic care package;

(b)        home care level 2, comprising a low care package;

(c)        home care level 3, comprising an intermediate care package;

(d)       home care level 4, comprising a high care package.
