Proposed protected action ballot by employees of Stowe Australia Pty Ltd - Tasmanian Division.
[1] This is an application for a protected action ballot of members of the Communications, Electrical, Electronic, Energy, Information, Postal, Plumbing and Allied Services Union of Australia (CEPU) employed by Stowe Australia Pty Ltd - Tasmanian Division (Stowe Australia).
[2] On 14 September 2012 Mr Richard Seeber of Stowe Australia advised by email that the company does not oppose the application.
[3] In the circumstances I have decided to determine the matter on the papers without holding a hearing.
[4] I am satisfied that the requirements in s.443(1) of the Act have been met and that, accordingly, an order must be made. An order based on the draft order provided by the CEPU has issued in conjunction with this decision.
