Proposed protected action ballot by employees of Contact Electrical Pty Ltd.

[1] This is an application for a protected action ballot of members of the Communications, Electrical, Electronic, Energy, Information, Postal, Plumbing and Allied Services Union of Australia (CEPU) employed by Contact Electrical Pty Ltd.

[2] On 17 September 2012, Mr Dion Frame, General Manager of Contact Electrical, advised that the company does not oppose the application.

[3] In the circumstances I have decided to determine the matter on the papers without holding a hearing.

[4] I am satisfied that the requirements in s.443(1) of the Act have been met and that, accordingly, an order must be made. An order based on the draft order provided by the CEPU has issued in conjunction with this decision.
