Arrangement for conduct of election.

[1]        On 27 October 2015, the South Australian Divisional Branch (the Branch) of the

Electrical, Energy and Services Division of the Communications, Electrical, Electronic,

Energy, Information, Postal, Plumbing and Allied Services Union of Australia (the

organisation) lodged with the Fair Work Commission (the Commission) prescribed

information in relation to a casual vacancy election.

[2]        On 6 November 2015 the Commission contacted the Branch Secretary, Mr John

Adley, and requested documentary evidence confirming the resignation of the relevant office

holder.

[3]        On 6 November 2015 Mr Adley provided the Commission with a copy of the

resignation letter submitted by the relevant office holder. The election, for the remainder of

the term, is in relation to the following office:

SOUTH AUSTRALIAN DIVISIONAL BRANCH

Divisional State Councillor from the following Section:

Electrical Contracting Industry Section (1)

[4]        I am satisfied that an election for the abovenamed office is required to be held under

the rules of the organisation and, under subsection 189(3) of the Fair Work (Registered

Organisations) Act 2009, I am making arrangements for the conduct of the election by the

Australian Electoral Commission.
