Arrangement for conduct of election.

[1]        On 22 January 2016, the Communications Division of the Communications, Electrical,

Electronic, Energy, Information, Postal, Plumbing and Allied Services Union of Australia (the

organisation) lodged with the Fair Work Commission prescribed information in relation to an

election.

[2]        On 2 February 2016, the Communications Division of the abovenamed organisation

lodged amended prescribed information in relation to an election, for the remainder of the

term, due to insufficient nominations in a previous election (E2015/63), and due to a casual

vacancy election following a resignation, for the following offices:

Western Australia Communications Branch

Telecommunications and Information Technology Industry Section

Branch Committee of Management Member (honorary) (2)

[3]        I am satisfied that an election for the abovenamed offices is required to be held under

the rules of the organisation and, under subsection 189(3) of the Fair Work (Registered

Organisations) Act 2009, I am making arrangements for the conduct of the election by the

Australian Electoral Commission.
