Application for approval of the Kim & Woo Pty Ltd & CEPU NSW/NFIA Sprinkler Fitting Fire Protection Union Enterprise Agreement NSW & ACT 2020 - 2024.

[1] The Communications, Electrical, Electronic, Energy, Information, Postal, Plumbing and Allied Services Union of Australia (CEPU) has made an application for approval of a single enterprise agreement known as the Kim & Woo Pty Ltd & CEPU NSW/NFIA Sprinkler Fitting Fire Protection Union Enterprise Agreement NSW & ACT 2020 - 2024 (the Agreement) pursuant to s 185 of the Fair Work Act 2009 (the Act).

[2] Based on the material contained in the application and accompanying declaration, I am satisfied that each of the requirements of ss 186, 187 and 188 as are relevant to this application for approval has been met.

[3] The CEPU, a bargaining representative for the Agreement, has given notice under s 183 of the Act that it wants the Agreement to cover it. In accordance with s 201(2) and based on the declaration provided by the organisation, I note that the Agreement covers the CEPU.

[4] The Agreement was approved on 4 March 2021 and, in accordance with s 54, will operate from 11 March 2021. The nominal expiry date of the Agreement is 29 February 2024.
