PROVISIONAL REGULATION UNDER THE COMMONWEALTH PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1902.

Public Service Regulation 193 is amended by the addition of the following:—
(
f )Shorthand and Typewriting.—Shorthand will comprise three tests of three minutes each, at the rates of 80, 100, and 120 words a minute, 45 minutes being allowed for the transcription of the whole. The transcription must bewritten. (Marks—200.)No speed is prescribed for
Typewriting. Candidates will be allowed a certain time for typing the paper set. (Marks—100.)
Full marks—300.
