PROVISIONAL REGULATION UNDER THE COMMONWEALTH PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1902.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in an over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby certify that, on account of urgency, the following Regulation under the Commonwealth Public Service Act 1902 should come into immediate operation, and make the Regulation to come into operation forthwith as a Provisional Regulation.

Regulation 171, made under the provisions of the Commonwealth Public Service Act 1902, is hereby amended by the addition of the following words:—

It is the duty of an officer to pay his premiums as they become due, and any officer who omits or neglects to do so shall be deemed to have committed a breach of these Regulations and may be punished accordingly.
