STATUTORY RULES.
PROVISIONAL REGULATIONS UNDER THE COMMONWEALTH PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1902.
I, THE
GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the
advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby certify that, on account of
urgency, the following Regulations under the

Regulations Nos. 10, 21, and 42,
made under the provisions of the
10. No Officer shall be allowed to leave his office during office hours, except on official business or by express permission of the Chief Officer or head of the branch, and the period of such absence, if not on official business, shall be recorded in the attendance book.
21. The Chief Officer of each Department shall cause a return to be forwarded to the Commissioner monthly, showing all fines of the amount of five shillings and upwards, and punishments by deprivation of leave of absence imposed under the provisions of the Act or Regulations during the previous mouth. The return shall set forth the name of the officer, office held, offence and punishment.
42. Except in the course of official duty, no information concerning public business or any matter of which an officer has knowledge officially shall be given, directly or indirectly, by an officer without the express direction or permission of the Chief Officer.
