REGULATIONS UNDER THE COMMONWEALTH PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1902.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Commonwealth Public Service Act 1902, to come into operation forthwith.

Dated this thirteenth day of January, One thousand nine hundred and five.

Amendment of Public Service Regulation 229.

1. Regulation 229 of the Regulations under the Commonwealth Public Service Act 1902, published in the Gazette of the 23rd day of December, 1902, is hereby amended by the omission of the words “Persons registered shall only be eligible for appointment in the State in which they have boon examined.”

2. Statutory Rule 1904, No. 66, made as a Provisional Regulation under the said Act, is hereby repealed.
