REGULATION UNDER THIS COMMONWEALTH PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1902.

I, THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Commonwealth Public Service Act 1902 to come into operation forthwith.

Amendment of Public Service Regulation 57.

Regulation 57, made under the provisions of the Commonwealth Public Service Act 1902, is amended by the addition of the following:—

Where an increment has been deferred for reasons other than misconduct or inefficiency, the Commissioner may determine that for purposes of seniority and future advancement the increment shall be deemed to have been granted from the date on which but for such deferment it would have become due.
