UNDER THE COMMONWEALTH PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1902
I, THE
GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the
advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation
under the
Such Regulation shall supersede the Provisional Regulation (Statutory Rules 1913, No. 79) under the said Act made on the 19th day of March, One thousand nine hundred and thirteen.

Regulation
158, made under the provisions of the
158. First-class fares shall be allowed to all officers receiving salary of
£ 185 and upwards per annum, and second-class fares to officers receiving under£ 185 per annum. Provided that officers travelling by steamer on the Queensland or Western Australian coast may be allowed saloon fares, and that officers travelling by railway in tropical climates on journeys exceeding twelve hours in duration, or on journeys of any duration in company with their wives and families, may be allowed first-class fares. Provided, further, that, in special cases, the Permanent Head or Chief Officer may allow first-class fare to any officer._______________
