COMMONWEALTH PUBLIC SERVICE REGULATIONS (FIFTH AMENDMENT, 1921).

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Commonwealth Public Service Act 1902-1918, to come into operation as from the 28th October, 1920.

Amendment of Commonwealth Public Service Regulations.

The Public Service Regulations are amended by the insertion of the following new regulation after regulation 114:—

114a. Notwithstanding anything contained in the preceding regulation, officers of the Radio-telegraph Branch of the Postmaster-General’s Department shall be classified as under in the offices named:—

Increments in Classes D, E, and F shall be annual, subject to approval of the Commissioner upon report of the Chief Officer as to the conduct, diligence, and general efficiency of the officer. Increments in Class B may be granted at such intervals, not less than twelve months, as may be determined by the Commissioner upon report of the Chief Officer.
