REGULATIONS UNDER THE COMMONWEALTH PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1946.*

THE PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD appointed under the Commonwealth Public Service Act 1922-1946, in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the said Act, and subject to the approval of His Royal Highness the Governor-General, hereby makes the following Regulations.

I, The Governor-General in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby approve the following Regulations.

Amendments of the Commonwealth Public Service Regulations. 

Leave of absence for service with International Organizations.

1.After regulation 61 of the Commonwealth Public Service Regulations, the following regulation is inserted:—

“61a. The following bodies or organizations shall be prescribed bodies or organizations for the purpose of section 72a of the Act, namely—

Allied Control Commission for Germany;

Provisional International Civil Aviation Organization;

United Nations;

United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration.”.

2. Regulation 109D of the Commonwealth Public Service Regulations is amended by adding at the end of the table in sub-regulations (1.) the words-

 

“ Assistant Director-General, Posts and Telegraphs

 

Deputy Director, Posts and Telegraph

 

Chief Inspector Postmaster-General’s Department

  

Postmaster-General’s (State) Heads of

  Branches Associations.”.
