Amendment of the Commonwealth Public Service Regulations.
Regulation 95a of the Commonwealth Public Service Regulations is repealed and the following regulation inserted in its stead:—
“95a.—(1.) An officer occupying a position of Engineer on a lighthouse vessel may be paid an allowance equivalent to a day’s pay if he is required, whilst in port, to perform ship-keeping duty between the hours of 5 p.m. and 7 a.m.
“(2.) For the purposes of this regulation, a day’s pay shall be calculated in accordance with the following formula:—
