1947. No. 2.

REGULATIONS UNDER THE COMMONWEALTH PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1946.*

THE Public Service Board appointed under the Commonwealth Public Service Act 1922-1946, in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the said Act, and subject to the approval of His Royal Highness the Governor-General, hereby makes the following Regulations.

Amendments of the Commonwealth Public Service Regulations. 

Absence from duty during office hours.

1.Regulation 15 of the Commonwealth Public Service Regulations is amended by omitting the proviso to sub-regulation (2.).

Short leave and leave for examinations.

2.Regulation 50 of the Commonwealth Public Service Regulations is amended by omitting the proviso to sub-regulation (1.)

Permanent Heads to be Chief Officers.

3.Regulation 71 of the Commonwealth Public Service Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (1.) the words “The Department of Aircraft Production;”.

Permanent Heads of Departments.

4. Regulation 71a of the Commonwealth Public Service Regulations is amended by omitting the words “The Secretary, Department of Aircraft Production;”.
