105. (1) The limits of salary payable to an officer in any office in the Third Division shall be such amounts specified in Table A or Table B of this regulation as are fixed by the Governor-General on the recommendation of the Board in respect to that office.
(2) Subject to the provisions of section 31 of the Act and of regulations 105a and 105b of these Regulations, increments may be paid to an officer within the limits of salary fixed in respect to his or her office of such amount as will in the case of male officers raise the salary to the next higher amount shown in Table A and in the case of female officers to the next higher amount shown in Table B.

(3) Notwithstanding anything contained in this regulation—
(
a ) the minimum rates of pay to male officers 21 years of age and under shall be as follows:—

b ) the minimum rates of pay to female officers 21 years of age and under shall be as follows:—

(
c ) the maximum of the limits of salary payable to any officer shall not be less than £306 in the case of a male officer or less than £256 in the case of a female officer.(
d ) where a female officer is employed in any office for which the limits of salary fixed are amounts specified in Table A, the limits of salary payable to the officer shall, subject to paragraph (b ) of this sub-regulation, be fifty pounds less than those fixed in respect to that office:Provided that this sub-regulation shall not operate to reduce the salary already paid to any officer

“
(1) Officers of the Fourth Division employed in any of the sections and offices specified in the following tables, or in any office in respect of which action has been taken by the Governor-General or the Board under sub-regulation (2) of this regulation, and any
officer subsequently appointed, promoted or transferred to those sections and offices, shall be paid salaries in accordance with the scales or amounts shown in those tables opposite their respective offices or fixed by the Governor-General under sub-regulation (2) of this regulation:
Provided that, where a female officer is employed in any of the abovementioned offices, the salary payable to the officer shall be in accordance with a scale or amount which is fifty pounds less than the scale or amount shown opposite that office in the tables or fixed by the Governor-General under sub-regulation (2) of this regulation, except where that scale or amount is prescribed or fixed as payable to a female officer or to an officer whose age is less than twenty-one years.
(2) The Governor-General may from time to time, on the recommendation of the Board, fix the limits of salary for an office (not designated in any of the following tables) which has been created in the Fourth Division, and may raise or lower the salary of any office in that Division, and the Board may alter the designation of any office in that Division.”
