REGULATIONS UNDER THE COMMONWEALTH PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1930.

THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS appointed under the Commonwealth Public Service Act 1922-1936, in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the said Act, and subject to the approval of the Governor-General, hereby makes the following amendments of the Regulations, such amendments to come into operation forthwith.

Amendments of Commonwealth Public Service Regulations.

(Statutory Rules 1926, No. 212, as amended to this date.)

Regulation 106 is amended—

(a) by deleting from Table A the words appearing in the “Remarks” column opposite the office “Messenger” and inserting in their stead the following:—

“Upon reaching 21 years of age officer to be paid salary at the rate of £204 per annum and to be transferred to adult position upon the occurrence of a suitable vacancy.”

(b) by deleting from Table G the words appearing in the “Remarks” column opposite the office “Launch Boy” and inserting in their stead the following:—

“Upon reaching 21 years of age officer to be paid salary at the rate of £204 per annum and to be transferred to adult position upon the occurrence of a suitable vacancy.”

(c) by deleting from Table I the words appearing in the “Remarks” column opposite the offices “Junior Assistant”, “Telephonist (Male)” and “ Telegraph Messenger”, and inserting in their stead the following:—

“Upon reaching 21 years of age officer to be paid salary at the rate of £204 per annum and to be transferred to adult position upon the occurrence of a suitable vacancy.”
