Amendments of Commonwealth Public Service Regulations.
(Statutory Rules 1926, No. 212, as amended to this date.)
1. Regulation 86 is amended by inserting at the end of sub-regulation (1.) the following:—
“Provided further that no payment shall be made under this sub-regulation in respect of any period prior to the date upon which an officer makes written application to the Chief Officer for payment of allowance, unless such application is made within two months of the date upon which the officer becomes eligible for the allowance.”
2. Regulation 87b is amended by inserting after the words “payable under” in the fourth line, the words and figures “regulation 106 of”.
3: Regulation 109 is amended by omitting sub-regulation (1.) and inserting in its stead the following new sub-regulation:—
“109.—(1.) Notification of all provisional
promotions shall, from time to time, be published by the Permanent Head in the
1905.—Price 3d.
4. Regulation 112a is amended by inserting after sub-regulation (3.) the following new sub-regulations—
“(4.) The transfer or promotion of an officer to a position of Clerk (Audit), Grade 2 shall be dependent upon evidence to the satisfaction of the Permanent Head or the Board as the case may be, that the officer has passed the Intermediate examination of an Institute of Accountants recognized by the Board or has successfully completed a University course in Commerce or Economics, including Auditing and Accountancy, Parts I. and II.
(5.) The transfer or promotion of an officer to a position of Inspector, Grade 1, Auditor General’s Office, shall be dependent upon evidence to the satisfaction of the Permanent Head or the Board, as the case may be, that the officer has passed the Final examination of an Institute of Accountants recognized by the Board or has successfully completed a University course in Commerce or Economics, including Auditing and Accountancy, Parts I. II. and. III.”
5. Regulation 106c is amended, as from 1st, July, 1932, by omitting the figures “182” wherever occurring and inserting in their stead the figures “174”.
