REGULATIONS UNDER THE COMMONWEALTH PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1932.

THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS appointed under the Commonwealth Public Service Act 1922-1932, in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the said Act, and subject to the approval of the Governor-General, hereby makes the following Regulation.

Amendments of Commonwealth Public Service Regulations.

(Statutory Rules 1926, No. 212, as amended to this date.)

l.—(l.) Regulation 106b is repealed, and the following regulation inserted in its stead:—

Salaries payable to adult messengers &c.

“106b:—(1.) The salaries payable to adult officers occupying the undermentioned offices shall be as follow:—

Office.	Rate of Salary.
	Unmarried Officers 21 and 22 years of age.	Unmarried Officers 23 years of age and over and Married Officers.

Junior Assistant..........................................	147	174
Launch Boy...............................................
Telephonist (Male).....................................	170	174
Telegraph Messenger.................................	140	174

(2.) For the purpose of this regulation, a married officer shall be deemed to include any adult officer who is maintaining a home in circumstances which, in the opinion of the Board, justify his inclusion.”

(2.) This regulation shall be deemed to have commenced on 7th December, 1933.
