REGULATIONS UNDER THE COMMONWEALTH PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1934.*

THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS appointed under the Commonwealth Public Service Act 1922-1934, in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the said Act, and subject to the approval of the Governor-General, hereby makes the following Regulation.

Amendments of Commonwealth Public Service Regulations. 

Salaries payables to adult messengers, &c.

Regulation 106b is repealed and the following regulation inserted in its stead:—

106b.—(1.) Adult officers occupying the undermentioned offices shall be designated “Assistant, Grade 1” and paid salary as prescribed for officers of that designation:—

Messenger

Junior Assistant

Launch Boy

Telephonist (Male)

Telegraph Messenger.

(2.) Any such officers shall, as soon as practicable, be transferred to offices of Assistant, Grade 1, or other offices of similar classification and salary.

(3.) This Regulation shall come into operation on the twenty-first day of May, 1936.
