PROVISIONAL REGULATION UNDER THE COMMONWEALTH PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1902-1916.

I,THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby certify that, on account of urgency, the following Regulation under the Commonwealth Public Service Act 1902-1916 should come into immediate operation, and make the Regulation to come into operation forthwith as a Provisional Regulation.

Amendment of Commonwealth Public Service Regulations

(Statutory Rules 1913, No. 341).

Paragraph (e) of Sub-Regulation (7) of Regulation 61 is repealed, and the following is inserted in its stead:—

(e) In the case of officers performing telephonists’ duties the provisions of paragraphs (a) (b) and (d) of the foregoing shall apply whether the officers are employed on day or night work.
