COMMONWEALTH PUBLIC SERVICE REGULATIONS (SEVENTH AMENDMENT, 1919).

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation, under the Commonwealth Public Service Act 1902–1918, to come into operation as from the 7th November, 1918.

Amendment of Commonwealth Public Service Regulations.

The Public Service Regulations are amended by the addition to regulation 87 of the following:—

In addition to the foregoing, the Chief Officer, or other officer authorized by the Minister, may grant leave to any officer to attend examinations held under these Regulations: provided that leave so granted in excess of five days in any year shall, at the option of the officer, be granted without pay or deducted from the officer’s next annual leave.
