COMMONWEALTH PUBLIC SERVICE REGULATIONS (SIXTEENTH AMENDMENT, 1919).

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Commonwealth Public Service Act 1902-1918, to come into operation from the 1st August, 1919.

Amendment of Commonwealth Public Service Regulations.

The Public Service Regulations are amended:—

(a) by omitting from regulation 149 the words—

“The following shall be the scale of travelling allowances:—

Salary.		Daily Allowance.		Daily Allowance after one week’s residence in same place.		Hourly rate—
From—	To—
£	£	s.	d.	s.	d.
Over	600............	17	6	15	0
501	600............	14	0	12	0
301	500............	12	0	10	0	l/24th of daily rate.”
201	300............	10	0	8	6
200 and under................		8	0	6	0

and inserting in their stead the words:—

“The following shall be the scale of travelling allowances:—

Salary.		Daily Allowance.		Daily Allowance after one week’s residence in same place.		Hourly rate—

(b) by omitting from paragraph (c) of regulation 149 the words:—

and inserting in their stead the words:—
