REGULATIONS MADE UNDER THE COMMONWEALTH PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1947.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, on the recommendation of the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, hereby make the following Regulations under the Commonwealth Public Service Act 1922-1947.

Amendments of the Commonwealth Public Service (Parliamentary Officers) Regulations

Basis of calculation of allowances.

1. Regulation 56 of the Commonwealth Public Service (Parliamentary Officers) Regulations is amended by adding at the end of sub-regulation (1.) the words “or by marginal increases granted by a determination of the Public Service Arbitrator.”.

Rates of travelling allowances.

2. Regulation 57 of the Commonwealth Public Service (Parliamentary Officers) Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from sub-regulation (1.) the table contained therein and inserting in its stead the following table:—

Allowance Capital Cities.

Allowance Other than Capital Cities.
