REGULATIONS UNDER THE COMMONWEALTH PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922–1936.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council on the recommendation of the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, hereby make the following Regulations under the Commonwealth Public Service Act 1922–1936.

Amendments of Commonwealth Public Service (Parliamentary Officers) Regulations.

Salaries of officers of the Third Division.

1. Regulation 69 of the Commonwealth Public Service (Parliamentary Officers) Regulations is amended by inserting in Table E of sub-regulation (2) after the words and figures—

“Clerk and Accountant................ 330 420 18”

the following words and figures:—

“Clerk........................................ ‡96 306 ‡”.

Salaries of officers of the Fourth Division.

2. Regulation 70 of the Commonwealth Public Service (Parliamentary Officers) Regulations is amended—

(a) by inserting in Table E in sub-regulation (2) after the words and figures—

“Housekeeper............................. 360 420 12”

the following words and figures:—

“Senior Cleaner.......................... 272 288 8”;

(b) by omitting from that Table the following words and figures:—

“Pastrycook................................	268	284	8”;
“Pantryman................................	252	260	8”; and
“Head Doorkeeper......................	300	324	8”;

(c) by omitting from that Table the following figures shown opposite the office of Foreman Gardener:—

“ 300 312 12”

and inserting in their stead the following figures:—

“ 306 330 12”; and

(d) by inserting in that Table after the words and figures—

“Maintenance Officer.................. 348 360 12”

the following words and figures:—

“Painter...................................... 278 294 8”.
