AN ACT to continue the operation of the-Common-

wealth Powers Act, 1945-1947.

[Assented to 1.9th January, 1948.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and b3.1 the authority of the same, as follows:-

1. This Act may be cited as the Commonwealth Short title.

Powers Act, 1945-1947, Amendment (Continuance) Act,

1947, and shall be read as one with the Commonwealth

Powers Act, 1945-1947 (No. 57 of 1945, as amended by

No. 31 of 1947.)

2. The principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Commonwealth Powers Act, 1945-1947.	principal Act

Amendment

3. Section six of the principal Act is amended by sub- of s. 6.

stituting for the word "forty-seven" in line five the

word "forty-eight."
