AN ACT to amend section two of the Commonwealth

Powers Act, 1943.

[Assented to 18th November, 1947.]

E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,

by and with the advice and consent of the Legis-

lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western

Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by

the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title

and com- 1. This Act may be cited as the Commonwealth

mencement.

Powers Act, 1943, Amendment Act, 1947, and shall be

read as one with the Commonwealth Powers Act, 1943

(No. 4 of 1943 as supplemented by the Commonwealth

Powers Act, 1945 (No. 57 of 1945)), hereinafter referred

to as the principal Act, and shall come into operation on

a day to be fixed by proclamation.

Citation of	2. The principal Act as amended by this Act may be
principal Act

as amended cited as the Commonwealth Powers Act (1943), 1943-

by this Act.

1947.

Amendment

of s. 2 (c). 3. Section two, paragraph (c) of the principal Act

is amended by deleting therefrom the word "wheat" in

line one.
