STATUTORY RULES.
PROVISIONAL REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE ACTS 1903-1904.
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby certify that, on account of urgency, the following Regulation under the Defence Acts 1903-1904 should come into immediate operation, and make the Regulation to come into operation forthwith as a Provisional Regulation.

Regulations for the Commonwealth Military Cadet Corps.
At end of Regulation 11 add new Regulation—
“11a. An officer holding the rank of Lieutenant or Captain may be granted a step of rank, supernumerary to the establishment of that rank, on completion of the following service:—
Lieutenant, after 8 years as Lieutenant.
Captain, after 8 years as Captain.
provided that the officer has served with a Corps during the period above described, and has passed the qualifying examination for higher rank.”
