Employees (Redeployment and Retirement) Regulations2 (Amendment)

GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of
the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Commonwealth Employees (Redeployment and
Retirement) Act 1979.

Interpretation
1. Paragraph 3 (2) (a) of
the Commonwealth Employees (Redeployment and Retirement) Regulations is amended
by omitting “Permanent Head” (wherever occurring) and substituting “Secretary”.
Application
of provisions of the Act to Commonwealth Teaching Service
2. Paragraph 21a
(2) (a) of the Commonwealth Employees (Redeployment and Retirement) Regulations
is amended by omitting “Permanent Head” and substituting “Secretary”.
Delegations
by Public Service Board or Secretary
3. Sub-regulation 24 (2) of
the Commonwealth Employees (Redeployment and Retirement) Regulations is amended
by omitting “Permanent Head” and substituting “Secretary”.
Schedule
4. The Schedule to the
Commonwealth Employees (Redeployment and Retirement) Regulations is amended by
omitting “Permanent Head” from Item 1 and substituting “Secretary”.
