Act relating to Commonwealth Employees’ Furlough.

BE it
enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and the House of
Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:—
Short title and citation.
1.—(1.) This Act may be cited as the Commonwealth Employees’ Furlough Act 1959.
(2.) The Commonwealth Employees’ Furlough Act 1943-1958, as amended by
this Act, may be cited as the Commonwealth
Employees’ Furlough Act 1943-1959.
Commencement.
2. This Act shall come into operation on the day on which
the Reserve Bank Act 1959 comes into
operation.
Application of Act
3. Section five of the Commonwealth
Employees’ Furlough Act 1943-1958 is amended by omitting from paragraph (g) the words “the Commonwealth Bank Act 1911-1932” and inserting in their stead the
words “the Reserve Bank Act 1959 or
the Commonwealth Banks Act 1959
