Commonwealth Electoral Act 1918
I, QUENTIN BRYCE, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and under subsection 285 (1) of the Commonwealth Electoral Act 1918, make the following proclamation:
(a) the details of some eligible voters who applied before 8 pm on Monday 26 July 2010:
(i) to be included on the electoral roll; or
(ii) to have their address details changed; or
(iii) to have their name details changed;
have been omitted from the certified list of voters because of an error or omission in the preparation of the list; and
(b) the Electoral Commissioner must do all things necessary to remedy this omission, including rectifying the certified list of voters so that it includes the names and required details, or the new addresses, of the eligible voters mentioned in paragraph (a).
