Commonwealth Borrowing Levy Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Commonwealth Borrowing Levy Act 1987.

Commencement

1. These Regulations commence on 1 July 1988.

Exempt borrowings

2. Regulation 3 of the Commonwealth Borrowing Levy Regulations is amended by adding at the end the following paragraph:

“(i) borrowings by way of overdraft, being borrowings that do not remain outstanding for more than 30 days.”.
