REGULATIONS UNDER THE COMMONWEALTH BANKS ACT 1959-1966.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Commonwealth Banks Act 1959-1966.

Amendments of the Commonwealth Banks Regulations

Prescribed amount of loan.

1. Regulation 35 of the Commonwealth Banks Regulations is amended by omitting the words " Three thousand five hundred pounds " and inserting in their stead the words " Eight thousand dollars ".

The Schedule.

2. The Schedule to the Commonwealth Banks Regulations is amended by omitting from Forms B, C, D and E the symbol " £ " (wherever occurring) and inserting in its stead the symbol " $ ".

Amendments in relation to decimal currency.

3. The Commonwealth Banks Regulations are amended as set out in the Schedule to these Regulations.
