REGULATIONS UNDER THE COMMONWEALTH BANK ACT 1945.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Commonwealth Bank Act 1945.

Amendments of the Commonwealth Bank Regulations. 

Commencement.

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on the second day of January, 1947.

Statement of liabilities and assets of General Banking Division.

2. Regulation 10 of the Commonwealth Bank Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (2) the word “Monday” and inserting in its stead the word “Wednesday”.

3.After regulation 11 of the Commonwealth Bank Regulations the following regulations are inserted:—

Reference to Monday.

“12. Any reference in Division 1 of Part VII. of the Commonwealth Bank Act 1945 to Monday shall be read as a reference to Wednesday.

Primary Produce

“13. For the purposes of the definition of ‘primary produce’ in section five of the Commonwealth Bank Act 1945, primary produce shall include ores and concentrates of ores, peanut products and poultry.”.

Amendment of Schedule

4. The Schedule to the Commonwealth Bank Regulations is amended by omitting from Form K. the word “Monday” and inserting in its stead the word “Wednesday”.
