REGULATION UNDER THE COMMONWEALTH BANK ACT 1911-1924.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Commonwealth Bank Act 1911-1924, to come into operation forthwith.

Amendment of Regulations under the Commonwealth Bank Act 1911-1924.

Regulation 15 of the Commonwealth Bank Regulations is amended by inserting the following sub-regulation after sub-regulation (3) thereof:—

“(3a.) Notwithstanding anything contained in the last preceding sub-regulation, the following provisions shall apply in respect of the first election to be held after the commencement of this regulation:—

(a) Nominations shall be called by the Chairman of Directors not later than 1st July, 1925, and shall be returnable to Head Office to reach there not later than 1st August, 1925;

(b) Nominations shall be notified to the various branches by the Chairman of Directors and an election by secret ballot shall be taken throughout the service on the first working day in September, 1925;

(c) The tenure of office of the representative elected shall be from the date of his election until the date of the election of a representative in 1926 in accordance with the provisions of the last preceding sub-regulation.”.
