This regulation may be cited as the Commissions of Inquiry (Forde Inquiry—Quorum) Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 1998 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the Commissions of Inquiry (Forde Inquiry—Quorum) Regulation 1998 . ˙ Replacement of s 2 (Forde inquiry quorum) 3. Section 2— omit, insert — ˙ ‘ Forde inquiry quorum ‘ 2. A quorum of the commission established under the Commissions of Inquiry Order (No. 1) 1998 may be constituted only by— (a) its chairperson sitting alone; or (b) the chairperson sitting with 1 or more of its other commissioners; or (c) 2 or more of its other commissioners sitting together. ˙ ‘ Acting chairperson ‘ 3.(1) This section applies if a quorum of the commission is constituted under section 2(c). ‘ (2) The chairperson may appoint 1 of the other commissioners to act as the chairperson. ‘ (3) The appointment may only be made before the other commissioners begin sitting.’.
