Commission for Children and Young people Act 1998 No 146 - Proclamation
(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Commission for Children and Young People Act 1998, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 31 May 1999 as the day on which that Act commences, except for the following provisions:

(a) Part 7,
(b) Schedule 2.2.

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the Commission for Children and Young People Act 1998 with the exception of the provisions relating to employment screening.
