Amendment (Fees) Regulation 1996

Commercial Vessels Act 1979His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has approved the following Regulation made by the Minister administering the Commercial Vessels Act 1979.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to increase fees set out in the Commercial
Vessels (Load Lines) Regulation 1986 for:
(a) an initial survey and the issue of a load line certificate, and (b) an initial survey and the issue of a load line exemption certificate, and (c) a periodical survey for a load line, and (d) a periodical inspection of a load line. This Regulation is made under the Commercial Vessels Act 1979, including section 38 (in particular, section 38 (1)) and section 52 (the general regulation-making power).

I, the Minister for Ports, make the following Regulation under the
Commercial Vessels Act 1979.

This Regulation is the Commercial Vessels (Load Lines)
Amendment (Fees) Regulation 1996.
Commencement
This Regulation commences on 1 September 1996.

The Commercial Vessels (Load Lines) Regulation 1986 is amended by omitting items 1–4 from Schedule 2 and by inserting instead the following items:
