Commercial Passenger Vehicle Industry and Commercial Passenger Vehicle Industry (Infringements) Amendment Regulations 2022

The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy, with the advice of the Executive Council, makes the following Regulations:

1Objectives

The objectives of these Regulations are—

(a)to amend the Commercial Passenger Vehicle Industry Regulations 2018 to remove obligations in relation to ensuring the cleanliness of commercial passenger vehicles; and

(b)to amend the Commercial Passenger Vehicle Industry (Infringements) Regulations 2018 to remove infringement offences and infringement penalties relating to the cleanliness of commercial passenger vehicles.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 289 of the Commercial Passenger Vehicle Industry Act 2017.

3Revocation of amendments

(1)Part 2A of the Commercial Passenger Vehicle Industry Regulations 2018[1] is revoked.

(2)Items 17AAC, 17AAD, 17AAE, 17AAF, 17AAG and 17AAH of the table in Schedule 1 to the Commercial Passenger Vehicle Industry (Infringements) Regulations 2018[2] are revoked.

4Revocation of Commercial Passenger Vehicle Industry Further Amendment Regulations 2020

The Commercial Passenger Vehicle Industry Further Amendment Regulations 2020[3] are revoked.

5Revocation of Commercial Passenger Vehicle Industry Further Amendment (Amendment) Regulations 2021

The Commercial Passenger Vehicle Industry Further Amendment (Amendment) Regulations 2021[4] are revoked.
