Commercial Passenger Vehicle Industry Amendment Regulations 2019

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Commercial Passenger Vehicle Industry Regulations 2018 to replace the references to the Roads Corporation with references to the Secretary as a consequence of the enactment of the Transport Legislation Amendment Act 2019.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 289 of the Commercial Passenger Vehicle Industry Act 2017.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 January 2020.

4Definitions

In regulation 4 of the Commercial Passenger Vehicle Industry Regulations 2018[1], in the definition of registration number, for "Roads Corporation" substitute "Secretary".

5Indication that commercial passenger vehicle is being used to provide commercial passenger vehicle service

In regulation 8(1)(d) of the Commercial Passenger Vehicle Industry Regulations 2018, for "Roads Corporation" substitute "Secretary".
