REGULATION UNDER THE COMMERCE (TRADE DESCRIPTIONS) ACT 1905.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Commerce (Trade Descriptions) Act 1905, to come into operation on and from the 1st September, 1917.

Amendment of the Commerce Regulations 1913.

(Statutory Rules 1913, No. 347.)

The standards set out in the First Schedule are hereby amended by the addition of the following:—

“Condensed Skimmed Milk: Condensed skimmed milk shall be milk from which butter fat has been wholly or partially removed; it shall contain—

(a) no fat other than butter fat;

(b) not less than 24.5 per centum of milk solids.”
