REGULATIONS UNDER THE COMMERCE (TRADE DESCRIPTIONS) ACT 1905-1933.

(Fifth Amendment.)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting withthe advice of the Federal Executive Council, do hereby make the following Regulations under the Commerce (Trade Descriptions) Act 1905-1933.

Amendment of Commerce (Imports) Regulations.

(Statutory Rules 1927, No. 155, as amended to this date.)

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on the first day of December, 1934.

2. Regulation 6 of the Commerce (Imports) Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting the word “and” from sub-paragraph (l);

(b) by inserting at the end thereof the following paragraph:—

“; and

(n) Cigarette papers and cigarette tubes.”

3. After regulation 16a the following regulation is inserted:—

“16b. In the case of cigarette papers and cigarette tubes the trade description affixed to the immediate container shall state the approximate number of papers or tubes contained therein.”
