Commerce (Imports) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Commerce (Trade Descriptions) Act 1905.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on gazettal.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Commerce (Imports) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 8 (Trade description—general requirements)

3.1   Subparagraph 8 (c) (i):

Omit “regulations 19A and 20,”, substitute “regulation 20,”.

4.   Regulation 15 (Articles of apparel, textile products and leather)

4.1   Omit the regulation.

5.   Regulation 19A (Cigars and cigarettes)

5.1   Omit the regulation.

6.   The Third Schedule

6.1   Omit the Schedule.
